Sean Kingston’s meeting with Avianne Jewelers went left last week, when the LA-based jewelry company allegedly wouldn’t let Kingston go after a dispute over a $225,000 watch.

According to TMZ, Kingston made a $185,000 deposit on the watch, but refused to pay the remaining balance, as he thought the watch wasn’t worth more than that. After a few back and forths, they agreed to meet with Sean to exchange the watch with one of a lesser value.

Sean’s police report states that he met with the jeweler in a downtown L.A. parking lot at 1:50am on Tuesday. When he hopped in the back of the jeweler’s vehicle to make the switch, the jeweler allegedly refused to do the exchange. Sean then refused to get out of the vehicle which prompted the jeweler to lock him in the car, then drove him to a secluded area and dumped him out.

So far representatives of Avianne Jewelers haven’t released a statement, but if Sean‘s allegations are proven to be true, they could be charged with kidnapping.
