“Untouchable,” the single produced by Timbo that Pusha T dropped earlier this month built early anticipation for King Push that we won’t grace our ears on until the spring of next year.

Just when we thought we had a long await ahead the new G.O.O.D Music President let fans know he will drop the prelude, Darkest Before Dawn on Dec 18 to hold them over in the mean time. How kind is he?

The distinctive rapper commented on his journey with Noisey Blog saying,

I’ve been recording so much — I didn’t want to break up that body of work… I feel like I had the producers doing things that they weren’t usually known for, a little out of their wheelhouse. I wanted to give the fans that body of work. That’s the music I love, and that’s the music that my fans love from me. Instead of having those moments throughout King Push, let’s just separate the game.

It’s no question that fans have high expectations knowing who solidifies his roster. Darkest Before Dawn will of course feature production from the Pusha’s mentor Kanye while also sampling creative talent from Diddy, Q-Tip, Baauer, Nashiem Myrick and none other than Timbaland. Needless to say King Push can’t come quick enough.

In case you missed the lyrically witty anthem that samples the classic style of Biggie, “the greatest rapper to ever live” as quoted by Pusha T to Rolling Stone earlier this year, here is “Untouchable,” below.
