Back in April, Quavo and Offset of Migos were arrested during a concert at Georgia Southern University. Quavo, Offset, and several members of their entourage were arrested backstage, after the show was cut short.
Quavo and Offset were arrested for marijuana possession (a misdemeanor), possession of a schedule II narcotic, possession of a firearm and carrying a gun on school property. Offset was just released from prison in October 2013 after serving 10 months for parole violation, he was also charged with gun possession by a convicted felon.
While Quavo was released on $10,000 bail, Offset was denied bail because of his previous felony conviction. In May, Offset was charged with with battery and causing a riot in a penal institution after he allegedly fought another inmate.
According to TMZ, Offset says video footage from the jail surveillance doesn’t show him and the fight lasted all of 20 seconds. So today, (December 4) Offset’s lawyers will try to get the battery and riot charges thrown out and finally get him bail after over 200 days without it.
