Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has ruffled a few feathers again. On Monday evening he called for the “total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on,” he stated in a press release.

Trumps statements come right after the mass shooting in San Berdino, which left 14 dead and 21 injured, and just one day after our current president addressed the nation on what his plans are as far as defeating the terrorist group, asking the American people not to resort to fear.

In his press release, Donald Trump suggests that the American people should no longer be victims of these terrible crimes.

“Without looking at the various polling data, it is obvious to anybody the hatred is beyond comprehension. Where this hatred comes from and why we will have to determine,” Trump said in a statement. “Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life.”

The GOP’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski manager tells CNN the ban would not only apply to Muslims looking to immigrate to the United States, but also Muslims wanting to visit.

People were pretty upset over the comments and were not scared to voice their opinions via twitter. He even got called a modern day Hitler. Check it out below.
