In an effort of peace keeping, several Muslim organizations in America have come together to help raise over $100,000 for the victim’s families of the San Bernardino shooting.

Although some could take this as an admission of guilt on behalf of the Muslim community, their gesture was more of a sign of promoting love and peace, not hate and war.

“We’re planning within a week to give the first batch of donations to the families so it can help with more short-term immediate expenses,”

Tarek El-Messidi, co-founder of the Islamic nonprofit group CelebrateMercy, told the Huffington Post.

He explained that the funds could help alleviate some costs associated with funeral expenses, among other things, although he understand no amount can bring back their loved ones.

He goes on to say,

“I think it sends a clear message that American Muslims are here to build and not destroy,”

…which we couldn’t agree with more.

Donald Trump and others can have their opinion of the muslim community, but all muslims are not terrorist, and if we want to label them as such, we should label EVERYONE. Including those “Christians” who shoot up movie theaters, schools, and churches.
