Bradley Cooper is making his dictorial debut with a remake of ‘A Star Is Born‘ and it is reported that the ultimate star, Beyonce, is on board.
Industry insiders report that Cooper is currently meeting with producers in Hollywood to back the film. The project is projected to go in front of the cameras by the end of next year or possibly even January 2017. In the mean time, Cooper is trying to squeeze in an acting role before A Star Is Born goes into preproduction.
A Star is Born which originated in 1937 has been remade twice already, once in 1954 with Judy Garland and James Mason and again in 1976 with Kris Kristofferson and Barbra Streisand. According to Page Six, their source adds that, ” He’s out to find the rest of his cast, but he may take another acting role [in the meantime]. He’s furiously making everything he can.”
Beyonce has reportedly been taking acting classes and was on the hunt for a very dramatic and iconic rule. Beyonce was originally on board for A Star Is Born remake when American Sniper director Clint Eastwood was set to direct but has since then dropped out.
With Beyonce being no stranger to the big screen and Cooper taking on his first directing gig, we are excited to see how things turn out.
