If you have watched the Warriors at all this season you have seen their sheer dominance. Golden State has been firing on all cylinders and it looked as if they wouldn’t be suffering their first loss for a long while. Last night the team got a wake up call as they lost to the Bucks 95-108.
Draymond Green wasn’t sweating it, telling reporters in the locker room afterward:
“I bet you thought we were going to be sad, huh?”
“I told the guys postgame, ‘Now we can have a regular season.’ It’s been kind of a playoff feel to this, just with the streak and all the media around, all the attention around.”
There are a number of factors that could have contributed to this lost such as Klay Thompson playing with an ankle injury, them being tired from going double OT the night before, or the Bucks simply being more hungry for the win. Their fans even wore 24-1 shirts to the game, and surprising enough they fulfilled that prophecy.
This streak has subjected the Warriors to a comparison to a certain 72-10 team. The big question is will they be able to break that amazing record that the bulls put up? What do you think? Let us know in the comments!
