For his fifth consecutive year, legendary rapper and artist LL Cool J will host the 58th annual Grammy Awards, airing at at 8 p.m. EST February 15, 2016 on CBS.

The two-time Grammy winner had this to say about his hosting gig via press release:

“I’m honored once again to host Music’s Biggest Night as we celebrate the talented music creators of today. It’s going to be an incredible night and I’m excited to share this experience with the world.”

Neil Portnow, Recording Academy President and CEO, expressed his delight for having the legend apart of the annual award show, stating that

“His unique expertise, both as a Grammy-winning recording artist and accomplished actor, allows him to connect with both his musical peers and the fans at home, and his dynamic personality and charismatic energy set the perfect tone for our show.”

I think we speak for the culture when we say we are pretty excited about this particular Grammy’s, especially because Kendrick Lamar is nominated for 11 awards. Of the 11, how many do you think King Kendrick will actually recieve?
