Malcolm Jamal Warner who played the character of Theo Huxtable on “The Cosby Show” believes that the show should still be on the air.  Due to Bill Cosby’s alleged sexual assault the rerun of the show has not been aired on television.

According to Huffington Posts Warner states,

“The Cosby Show” “deserves to return to television. The legacy of the show being ‘tarnished’ was not my words. That was the word that the interviewer used.  The legacy could never really be tarnished, because there are generations of young people who went to college and became doctors and lawyers because of ‘The Cosby Show’ and ‘A Different World.’”

Cosby was arrested on December 30th and Warner said he found that “surprising.” We will have to see what happens next with the availability of the show on streaming services.
