It’s been one week since Kanye West’s ‘Facts’ was released and it appears as if the only person who has yet to hear it is LeBron James.
When asked this week his thoughts on the song, LeBron said he hasn’t heard it, but nevertheless he’s on Nike’s side (for a $500 million plus an additional $30 million yearly, I would be as well).
Wondering what LeBron’s thoughts on the song might seem strange, but there’s a melodic phrase in the song that names him specially: “Nike, Nike treat employees just like slaves. Gave LeBron a billi’ not to run away.”
Many perceived the line as a diss towards James. But in an early morning tweet, West cleared the air stating: “The media tried to make it seem like I was downplaying LeBron on my song FACTS which I would never do, Lebron is fam bottom line.”
LeBron also said he hasn’t really listened to Kanye’s Facts, but said he’s always on Nike’s side no matter the situation.
