In 1964, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr received the Nobel Peace prize making him the youngest recipient to receive this honor. Before he received this award, Dr. King traveled to London and gave a speech sponsored by the British Group Christian Action of the civil rights struggle in the U.S. and the Anti-Apartheid movement in South Africa on Dec. 7, 1964. The speech was recorded and recently discovered.
