This week, reports of poisoned water in Flint, Michigan have become a national news story.  Thousands of residents had to drink, bathe, cook, and live with lead-contaminated water in 2014.  In fact, the water caused hundreds of illnesses within the community and according to several reports, 10 people have died due to the liquid being in the blood system.

In April of 2014, a state-appointed emergency manager thought no one would notice if he replaced treated water from Lake Huron with untreated water from the Flint River.  Now, over 8,000 children have been exposed to lead and President Obama has declared a state of emergency to quickly fix the problem… Which should have been addressed two years ago.

#BlackTwitter has sounded off about the issue.  And as we all have witnessed in the past year, some Twitter storms cause confusion and promote misleading reports.  So, to help us grasp the severity of the situation in Flint, our team found 10 tweets from shared online by a user called, @AlwaysBetonBlack.

The person who seems to be behind the water contamination is Dick Snyder.
