Recently Stacey Dash commented on the boycott of this year’s Oscars. In an interview with FOX Dash stated:

“We have to make up our minds. Either we want to have segregation or integration, and if we don’t want segregation, then we have to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the Image Awards, where you’re only awarded if you’re black.”

Many shook their heads at the comment and BET responded with a Instagram post, asking for their money back from Dash, who appeared in the TV show The Game, which was aired on BET for sometime.

Several celebrities spoke out against Dash, including her own cousin Damon Dash. However, Waka Flocka seemed to be agreeing with the actress and FOX commentator. He recently spoke in a video about the comments and this is what he had to say:

“I could say Stacey Dash is wrong and she’s right for how she said it and she couldn’t break down fully what she was trying to explain. But honestly, I always felt like that. Like why the fuck we got BET. BET is for black people. MTV’s for white people? Think about it. Why the fuck we have black history month — only in February. How can the people that took our history give us our history, for one month? Just think about it. That’s the shit I be saying but it is what it is.”
