Last week, Macklemore released “White Privilege II” which explores race in America. Of course, as it pertains to hip-hop, Iggy Azalea’s name was mentioned. The song stirred up some much-needed conversation and naming Iggy as a cultural appropriator, as she has been called many times before, stirred up even more controversy.

When Iggy was asked by a fan how she felt about Macklemore’s new song, she tweeted this:

Talib Kweli got wind of this response and was not here for it at all. He felt like it was a diss and Kweli had plenty to say on the matter. Azalea got wind of Kweli’s remarks and naturally, offered up her deposition. You can read the whole tweet conversation below. But you have been warned, there are a lot of tweets. What are your thoughts? Is Talib right in this situation or should he have just left it alone?
