Although it’s his birthday, J. Cole is giving his fans a gift.

Today, the 31-year-old Fayetteville native released a live recording of his latest album, “2014 Forest Hills Drive.”

The tracks were recorded last fall during his Fayetteville Tour at the Crown Coliseum: the same place his HBO Special “Forest Hills Drive: Homecoming” was recorded.

As it is the recorded version of the HBO special, “Forest Hill Drive Live” features 13 songs from the original and includes some
live versions of his classics “Nobody’s Perfect” and “Lights Please.”

The 13-track album features songs from his lauded 2014 Forest Hills Drive, including a brief medley of his previous hits “Lights Please.”
