As one of the most anticipated albums of the past few years, Rihanna’s ANTI has certainly exceeded expectations. According to Groovevolt, in less than 15 hours, Rihanna’s eighth album hit one million downloads, making the album certified platinum.
Something that may have attributed to these sky-high numbers in such a short period of time was the Bajan beauty’s partnership with Samsung.
On Wednesday night, Rihanna tweeted a special gift to #RihannaNavy, a code to download ANTI via Tidal for free. Unfortunately, if you try to download the album from Tidal now, it’s not free anymore. Rih apparently signed a $25 million sponsorship deal with the company when she began recording “ANTI” in 2015.

Less than a day before dropping ANTI unexpectedly, she also released the first single off the album – “Work (feat. Drake).” According to Cinema Blaze, “Work” hit #1 in nearly 100 countries on its first day of release.
