Yesterday (Feb. 2) was the one year anniversary of the untimely death of The Jacka, who was killed in a shooting in Oakland. The underground legend was respected and loved by all who he worked with and it was made evident as of yesterday when
Philthy Rich, Freeway and Paul Wall came together to pay respect to their friend.

“King Jack” is a heartwarming tribute that celebrates the life of The Jacka. The AK47 produced track has Philthy Rich, Freeway and Paul Wall reflecting on their memories of the rapper while also hoping that the violence that took The Jacka’s life away comes to an end. The song also features audio clips of The Jacka.

All three rappers collaborated with The Jacka many times over their respective careers, so naturally the best thing to do is give back to The Jacka’s legacy in some way. The track will appear on Philthy Rich’s upcoming album Real N—as Back in Style, which is scheduled to drop on Feb. 26. Check out the track below.
