The waters have definitely calmed after an uproar of a week between Kanye West, Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose. The outspoken artist was candid on resolution and peace between the families when he called into Big Boy’s Los Angeles Radio Show to briefly chop it up with his close friend.

Ye dished on Malik Yusef playinh the mediator and beacon of light in uniting the family men. He stated, “My brother Malik Yusef got us on the phone. He’s very close to Wiz, he’s also very close to me…. We chopped it up, squashed it.” He was sincere in his apology for bringing the children in it adding, “For people who felt a way about the kids comment, I didn’t mean it in a harmful way.”

At the time he admitted to acting off his emotions after seeing “KK” and thinking it was a reference to his wife’s initials:

“I just saw my wife’s initial and reacted, cause that’s my family. People be thinkin’… [Kim] is open season or something… that’s the mother of my kid! And I’m ‘Ye. I don’t want to act like I’m the toughest…I just wanna show that I’m a man at the end of the day.”

All seems well for the eclectic artist who is still undecided on the title of his forthcoming album that’s set for release this month. All he could say was that it’s definitely a gospel album, his personal gospel rather:

“I’m tryna open up hearts, minds…. When I was sitting in the studio with Kirk, Kirk Franklin, and we’re just going through it, I said this is a gospel album, with a whole lot of cursing on it, but it’s still a gospel album. The gospel according to Ye. It’s not exactly what happened in the bible, but it’s this story idea of Mary Magdalene becoming Mary.”

Of course the Big Boy exclusive wouldn’t have been complete without getting Ye’s validation on the ‘Amber & Kim selfie’ that broke the internet earlier this week. He confirmed that the photo is in fact real and dished on the location of where the photo was taken…. Kris Jenner’s house.

It’s was quite the refresher to hear Yeezus speak with such humility on the matter. Listen to the entire interview below.
