On Feb. 5, Meek Mill returned to court to receive sentencing for violating probation. Many believed the Philly rapper would be sent to jail, but he was ultimately sentenced to to 6 to 12 months of house arrest.

Meek will be evaluated 90 days after the start date. The judge will then decide the next course of action. He may be able to get off as early as June. During the 90 days, Meek will not be allowed to leave his home unless it is for charity work. The most bizarre part is he’ s barred from releasing any music, so you can 86 any thoughts of hearing DC4 anytime soon, unless he releases it by month’s end.

Meek has to turn himself in to get his ankle monitor by March 1. Check out his reaction via Instagram below.

They rather see you locked in shackles watch me take off!
