Future has been on a run since the release of his mixtape, Monster in October 2014.
Last year Future’s long-anticipated album DS2 went straight to number one on Billboard 200 and his surprise joint project with Drake, What A Time To Be Alive followed suit after premiering on OVO Radio on Beats 1 last September.
Now Future has received his third Number One LP in less than seven months as his latest EVOL took the top spot on the Billboard 200. EVOL went straight to number one after he debuted the album on DJ Khaled’s We Da Best Radio on Beats1 with 134,000 copies sold. According to Billboard, only the cast of Glee racked up three Number One albums faster than Future, as three of the series’ soundtracks topped the charts in less than two months in 2010.
The album features “Fly Shit Only,” which was used in a Super Bowl 50 ad for Beats by Dre starring Cam Newton.
