Right after announcing that his album was out on KanyeWest.com and TIDAL, the world ran to their cell phones, tablets and laptops to be the first to hear Kanye’s long-awaited album The Life Of Pablo.

Shortly after the release, TIDAL became the number one app in the iTunes App Store.

Moments after the album went live early Sunday Morning, Kanye decided to pull the album from his website and exclusively streamed it on TIDAL. He has the intention of releasing later this week via iTunes and other platforms. Kanye pleaded with fans to subscribe to Tidal to hear the album and less than 24 hours later, the app was number one!

Yé along with Nicki Minaj, Beyoncé, Jay Z, Rihanna and several others is a stakeholder in the streaming service, but he claimed that TIDAL is funding scripted content created by Mr. West, so it looks like we can look forward to more original content from him soon.
