Rapper Jay Rock was injured in a motorcycle accident last night, though he’s expected to be okay.

After a tweet from Top Dawg (CEO of Top Dawg Entertainment) broke the news of the accident, he followed up to say that the rapper wasn’t dead nor in a coma, but did sustain “a lot of broken bones.”

Top Dawg Entertainment collective features some of the most prominent names in hip hop, including ScHoolboy Q, SZA, and Kendrick Lamar , and Busta Rhymes.

The news of Jay Rock’s accident paralleled with the dynamic (and what is sure to be historical) performance by Lamar makes for a bittersweet time in the TDE family.
