This week rumors surfaced that Tampa Police had not signed up to work security at Beyoncé’s Formation World Tour because they feel like the song of the same name is “anti-police.”

The rumors turned out to be false, at least according to Tampa PD. The Tampa Police Department tweeted that the numerous reports about Tampa PD officers refusing to sign up to work security at Queen Bey’s concert were “factually incorrect.” Tampa’s Fox 13 revealed that “dozens” of police have signed up to work security at the show.

Meanwhile, the Miami chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police, the national police union, has vowed to boycott Beyonce’s Miami stop on her Formation tour in April, which was confirmed by Lt. Javier Ortiz on Thursday (Feb. 18). Ortiz called for all local police to boycott the concert, because he feels that Beyoncé “used this year’s Super Bowl to divide Americans by promoting the Black Panthers and her anti-police message.”
