According to a national data survey, nearly 20% of Donald Trump supporters disagreed with Abraham Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation. The Emancipation Proclamation was the document that freed the slaves. Also the exit poll data administered by YouGov/Economist and Public Policy Polling states that in South Carolina, 74% agreed to prohibiting Muslims who are not U.S. citizens from entering the country. 70% wished to prohibit Gays and Lesbians from entering the country as well.
Also a third of supporters thought the Japanese imprisonment during World War II was justified. 70% of voters would like the Confederate Flag to be flown above their Statehouse. On Tuesday, after Donald Trump won the Caucus in Nevada, he wrote on twitter, “we won the evangelicals. We won with young. We won with old. We won with highly educated. We won with poorly educated. I love the poorly educated. We’re the smartest people, we’re the most loyal people.” Trump even mentioned that he will accomplish what Mitt Romney set out to do in 2012.
