Mona Scott Young is looking to expand her Love & Hip Hop franchise beyond the three cities she already has in rotation.
TMZ is reporting that Love & Hip Hop producers are auditioning potential cast memebers in both Houston, TX and Miami, FL. The goal for producers is to have the casting completed by April, so they could have the first half of the season filmed for a late summer debut. Whichever city brings the most drama will air first.
The rumors about a Houston L&HH began two years ago. At the time rumors were circulating that L&HH were expanding to Los Angeles, Houston and New Orleans, LA. The rumored cast for Houston then was Slim Thug, Wille D and Jhonni Blaze, no word on if any of the three will be involved with the franchise now. Blaze was on season 5 of Love & Hip Hop: New York.
The Shade Room is reporting that filming for Love & Hip Hop: New Orleans has already begun. The cast for LHHNO allegedly includes bounce music artist, Sissy Nobby, rapper Mystikal as well as social media personalities TokyoxVanity, SupaCent, 10thWardBuck and his baby mama Trelly.
10thWardBuck reportedly posted (and then deleted) an email from Mona Scott Young’s lawyer confirming filming.
If all of these franchises come to fruition that would make a total of six LHH franchises. This means the show will probably be on year round, some overlapping each other.
