The White House will never be this lit again. President Barack Obama couldn’t stop himself from singing during a tribute to the late, great singer-songwriter, Ray Charles.
Obama said that Charles’ unmistakable ‘singular sound’ continues to influence generations of musicians. The president made sure to mention that he wasn’t going to sing as he spoke about Charles, but during the finale, Usher sung “What’d I Say” and Pres. Obama couldn’t help himself during the call and respond portion.
This is the last performance of the sort under the Obama administration. He has about 10 months left in office.
