While many were tuned into the Oscars last night, Vic Mensa was out in Flint, Michigan helping with REAL issues, alongside Hannibal Buress, Janelle Monaé, Andra Day, Ledisi, Robert Glasper,Musiq Soulchild, Jesse Williams, Jon Conner, Jussie Smollett and Royce Da 5’9, for Ava DuVernay and Ryan Coogler’s #JusticeForFlint benefit concert.

During his performance, Vic spoke about police brutality and the issues the African-American community is facing, and then debuted a new track, “16 Shots.” This song will likely live on his forthcoming debut, Traffic. Check out the performance below.
