It seem that Ben Carson is calling his 2016 presidential campaign quits. Today Ben Carson informed his supporters that he will not be attending Thursday’s debate in Detroit. According to Republican sources, Carson will not formally drop out of the race but he will make a speech about his future in politics on Friday at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Maryland.
Other sources reported that Carson’s campaign is over due to the unsuccessful outcome of Super Tuesday. Carson has released a statement to the press:
“I do not see a political path forward in light of last evening’s Super Tuesday primary results. However, this grassroots movement on behalf of ‘We the People’ will continue. Along with millions of patriots who have supported my campaign for President, I remain committed to Saving America for Future Generations.”
Reportedly, Carson was having internal issues with his campaign such as conflicts among staff members and constant strategy shifts. Carson is set to address his next political move at the conference in Maryland on Friday, March 4th.
