Continuing on with this year’s theme of cover releases, Lupe Fiasco reemerges with a new twist on an old  SZA record titled “Bone.” The song samples the beat from SZA’s  “Babylon,” which was featured on her Z EP released in 2014.

With an edgier twist, Lupe delves into the topics surround the issue with celebrity being synonymous with perfection.

Hopefully this new release is just a prelude to his forthcoming album, The Cool 2, originally set to be released in 2017. Though he’s promised us three more albums until his “retirement,” we wonder whether the album(s) will be released a bit sooner than planned.
