Another arrest has been made in the tragic murder of 9-year-old Tyshawn Lee of Chicago.
Initially headed to the park for a game of basketball, the child was lured into a car by a rival gang member of his father offering him a juice box. The killers had planned to cut off the ears and fingers of the boy but had ended up shooting him allegedly in retaliation for the murder of 25-year-old Tracey Morgan.
The latest reports are stating that Dwright Boon-Doty, 22, has been incarcerated since late last year because of unrelated gun charges but was charged Monday in conjunction with Lee’s murder. He has also been charged with the shooting of two others, which resulted in the death of a 19-year-old woman in mid-October, just two weeks before young Tyshawn Lee was killed.
Tracey Morgan’s death remains under investigation.
