With his last months in office and the political landscape in some what of a shambles, President Obama overall approval rating skyrocketed to an all time high, up 50% since 2013.

According to a recent Gallup poll, Obama base rating since 2009 was at 47% but Among Democrats, Obama’s approval increased from an average of 81% last year to 87% last week, although his approval among Republicans stayed almost the same, inching up from 10% last year to 11% this week.

Speaking at  press confrence ealier today with Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in attendence, Obama laughed at a question directed towards him about Donald Trump and his overall popularity in the republican party.

“I have been blamed by Republicans for a lot of things, but being blamed for their primaries, and who they’re selecting for their primary is novel,” says Obama.

Its safe to say that if President Obama was able to stay a third term, even though he stated that he wouldn’t stay in the White House if possible ,with a rating that high, will he second guess it?
