It was announced on the morning of March 23 that rapper Phife Dawg, a member of the legendary rap group A Tribe Called Quest passed away.  In honor of the late rapper, a news reporter, Mark Arum incorporated Phife’s lyrics into his traffic report, “one for the treble, two for the bass/ you know the style Mark McKay/ time to flip this,” from the 90’s classic “Oh My God.”

Phife Dawg passed away at the age of 45 due to complications with diabetes. Fans have been taking to social media to pay tribute and share the impact Phife Dawg had on the hip hop community.  RIP Phife Dawg.  Watch the video below.
