The 6-foot-10 forward averaged 19.2 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 4.8 assists for the LSU Tigers, his only season in college. Originally from Australia, Simmons, who was a high school star at Montverde Academy in Florida, is the consensus favorite to go No. 1 overall in this year’s draft.
Although there has been controversy about him not being included for consideration for the Wooden Award due to low grades, Simmons has compensated on the floor by displaying a rare combination of basketball IQ, passing ability, size, athleticism, and smarts.
Simmons joins a list of clients at Klutch Sports that includes James, John Wall, Tristan Thompson, and Eric Bledsoe.
The 2016 NBA Draft will take place on June 23 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
