Fighting people and legal trouble haven’t stopped Katt Williams from completing his stand up tour across the country. During his stop in NYC on Mar. 25, Katt explained his reasons for fighting the kid; simply put – he thought the kid was older.
Initial media reports claimed the kid was a 7th grader, but he’s actually a 17-year-old high school student on the wrestling team. Does that change many people’s opinions on the situation? Eh… Slightly
The 17-year-old’s name is Luke Walsh, and this is his side of the story:
“We were playing a game of soccer and I just thought it was a soccer game, but stuff happens in sports. He took me over to a secluded area and asked me to hit him and I was like, ‘I’m not just going to hit you. You want to square up?’ And then he sucker-punched me so I did what I did.”
Many friends and family believe that Katt is in need of help, so with that being said he story doesn’t seem far off. Whatever Katt maybe fighting with, we hope he gets the proper help he needs.
