A death threat reportedly made against Jada Paul, wife of Los Angeles Clippers star point guard Chris Paul, is under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department. The threat was allegedly made on Twitter on March 14, according to TMZ Sports.
The tweet authorities are investigating read, “@CP3 if I knew where you lived I’d probably kill your wife and frame you for it. I watch dateline I get away with it.”
The tweet was located by the Los Angeles Clippers security team, who proceeded to contact police.
No arrests have been made.
The TMZ report also noted that the LAPD is also investigating an Instagram user that has been harassing Paul and his wife for over a year. Although physical harm was not threatened in that case, the person harassing Paul is supposedly running “a campaign of cyber-humiliation.”
