Rapper Fat Trel was charged with possession of counterfeit currency after trying to use nine fake $50 bills to gamble at a Maryland casino on Easter Sunday. He might rap about being rich as f**k, but this incident proves otherwise.
The Maybach Music Group artist took to Twitter to express how he felt about the situation, stating that the TMZ allegations that all the bills he used came from a 7-Eleven ATM in Washington DC.
According to the report, police were able to identify the fake money easily by the bills’ matching serial numbers.
