The latest hashtag that seems to be taking over the internet is inspired by the race for the presidency.

#ToneDownForWhat began to trend after an aid for Hillary Clinton made a comment about why Hillary turned down the opportunity for another debate with Bernie Sanders, saying:

“I think he’s going to campaign like a Brooklynite, and she’s going to campaign like a senator who represented this state for eight years and has lived here for 16. This is a man who said he’d never run a negative ad ever. He’s now running them; they’re now planning to run more. Let’s see the tone of the campaign he wants to run before we get to any other questions.”  

That comment, made by aid Joel Benenson, ruffled the feathers of supporters of Bernie, who used the hashtag to show their support for the Bern.
