Brandy filed a lawsuit against her record label Chameleon Entertainment Group claiming that the company has kept her from creating or distributing new music since the release of her last album Two Eleven back in 2012. Reportedly, Brandy’s original contract allows the label to release four more albums with the songstress. However, Brandy claims that the label will not let her record a new album in hopes of getting her to sign a new contract with the label.
Although the contract with Chameleon has already been dissolved, Brandy wants a judge to rule that it is void. In 2011 Brandy signed a joint contract with Chameleon and RCA after her departure from Atlantic Records. Chameleon Entertainment Group has yet to release a statement on this matter.
