Boxer Adrien Broner appears to have waved the white flag in his beef with mentor and champion boxer Floyd “Money” Mayweather. The two hurled a slew of insults at one another ever since Mayweather called Broner a “snake” and “broke” and talked about his finical, legal and personal woes on Fighthype.com.
After Broner defeated Ashley Theophane, a Mayweather Promotions Boxer, he responded to Mayweather’s insults:
“Floyd, you’ve got to come see me. You gotta see me, point blank, period. I’m a man at the end of the day and I come from the streets, the trenches. I came from nothing, water and corn flakes. I will never let another man disrespect me. I don’t care if we fight or spar.”
Mayweather didn’t even acknowledge the invitation to fight because umm….he’s Floyd “Money” Mayweather!
If you can’t beat em, join em and that’s exactly what Broner did. On Instagram, he posted a picture with Mayweather with the caption, “Brothers argue and fight all the time but at the end of the day FAMILY is FAMILY……..#ThisHowImFeelingTODAY #AboutBillions.”
