It was the mural seen around the world, or at least around social media. Artist Scott Marsh created a huge 20ft mural on the side of a building in Australia depicting Kanye West making out with himself. Now, Marsh is cashing in on his work and taking the controversial work of art down.
Via Instagram, Marsh reveled that he sold the print version of the painting for $100,000 to an unknown buyer. “If anyone needs me I’ll be at the #lordgladstone drinking from the top shelf,” wrote Marsh right after the sell. He then posted a picture of him painting of the mural with the caption, “It’s been real Yeezy.”

A little bit after the image went viral, Marsh announced that someone approached him about taking it down. His response was he would need $100,000 and a lifetime supply of Yeezy Boosts. Well he got the money but the Boosts, we are still uncertain. Guess we will just have to check his shoe game over the coming months.
