Watching history take place comes at a steep price.
Tickets for the Golden State Warriors’ potential record-breaking matchup with the Grizzles and the final game of Kobe Bryant’s illustrious career are both highly-priced, and fans will have to spend a lot of money for the cheapest ticket.
To watch the Warriors attempt to break the 1995-1996 Chicago Bulls’ record for wins in a season, the cheapest seats will cost $380, and that’s for standing room only. Two tickets to watch from VIP courtside seats are $15,900. And while there are many prices and seats in between those two totals, fans will be coming out of pocket with a lot of money.
To witness the Black Mamba’s final game in the NBA at the Staples Center, nosebleed seats are reported to be as high as $700. An online scalper is offering courtside seats for $25, 750, nearly $30,000 less than a fan who paid $55,o00 for a pair of tickets priced at $27,500 each.
