Beyonce has launched her long awaited active wear clothing line, Ivy Park this morning (April 14). So of-course the Bey Hive went in droves to get something from the line to sport at gyms worldwide. But what they didn’t know was the website that handles Ivy Park, Topshop would not be able to handle the fandom that is the Bey hive, and the website would keep crashing, preventing some customers from finalizing their purchases.
It has been a lot of buzz around Bey’s new active wear line ever since she dropped the video announcing it’s release date. Dedicated Bey stans would would wait at their computers until 12:00 midnight just to grab some of the apparel before it inevitably sells out. But some fans would be very disappointed when their checkout would not go through because the website was having trouble handling all of the Bees in the hive.
Frustrated fans would tweet to Topshop about the problems they were having on the website, with a plea to fix it so they can confirm their orders. Other fans tweeted in joy for having made it through to the end and just having to wait for their purchases to be shipped. Either way it looks like Beyonce will have no problem selling Ivy Blue.
For the love of Beyonce!
