According to CNN, New York’s HOT 97 was a pioneer in popularizing hip hop. Today, the hosts of Ebro in the Morning, Ebro Darden, Peter Rosenberg, and Laura Stylez speak out against, and on the uncomfortable topics surrounding race, politics, hop-hop and how they intertwine. These authentic conversations are important for all to have and hear no matter race, gender or any other dividing factor.

“We really connect with our audience because we’re living what everybody else is living,” said Stylez to CNN. Because of the authenticity listeners are able to relate to the trio each and every morning, and especially when controversial topics arise.
