Just three short days after Prince’s passing, his closest family and friends gathered to say their final goodbyes as they laid him go rest.

Prince had been very specific on how he wanted his funeral arrangements to proceed. According to Baller Alert, a family friend said, “He wanted it to be kept to the minimum of fuss. Prince was such a figure you don’t need a funeral to remember him by. He wanted to simply disappear with no fuss, no drama, no fanfare. It was just his style.”

After his autopsy, Prince was cremated. His sister, Tyka Nelson, and her son were seen transporting his ashes into a car. There is no word yet on where on his ashes final destination.

A private memorial service was held at Paisley Park Compound on Saturday. According to Tyka’s husband, a public memorial service is in the works.
