One song in particular, “Sorry,” Beyoncé sings at the end “He only want me when I’m not there/ He better call Becky with the good hair.”
Well, who the hell is Becky with the good hair?
Fans speculated, but couldn’t find solid evidence to support their theories. Then in the wee-hours of the morning on Sunday, fashion designer Rachel Roy (who is also Dame Dash’s ex-wife) posted an Instagram post that made folks say “hmmm.”
“Good hair, don’t care, but we will take good lighting, for selfies, or self truths, always. Live in the light #nodramaqueens.”
Could this be pure coincidence? Sure. However, the infamous 2014 elevator fight involving Jay Z and Beyoncé’s sister, Solange was rumored to have started because Beyoncé was uncomfortable with Roy and Jay Z’s interaction at the Met Gala. The Hollywood Life reported that Solange cursed out Roy and told her to stay away from Jigga. When Jay told Solange she was out of line, Solange… well, we all saw the video.
After the Beyhive caught wind of Roy’s comments, they went on full attack mode on her Instagram page, putting an array of emojis from lemons, to bees and crowns under her photos. Roy deleted a lot of people’s comments, but it eventually became overwhelming and she locked her Instagram account.
Shortly after, Roy took to Twitter to somewhat address reports that she is the mistress referenced on the song.
I respect love, marriages, families and strength. What shouldn't be tolerated by anyone, no matter what, is bullying, of any kind.

“I respect love, marriages, families and strength,” she says. “What shouldn’t be tolerated by anyone, no matter what, is bullying, of any kind.”
Roy was scheduled to give appear at a “Mastering Your Métier” event in New York City Monday evening organized by NeueHouse. However, as reported by BuzzFeed, she canceled this morning due to a “personal emergency.”
