Pittsburgh Steelers ironman and linebacker James Harrison confirmed on Monday that he will return for his 15th NFL season.
Harrison, who will turn 38 this Wednesday, announced via Instagram that he would play this upcoming season, officially ending any speculation about whether or not he would play the final year of his contract.
The picture shows Harrison emerging from the Heinz Field tunnel with the words “I’M BACK” painted in bold lettering. In his caption, Harrison said that he feels “just like a fine wine,” and that he feels he’s “getting better with age.”

The Steelers official Twitter account used a picture from Harrison’s Instagram account and quoted it with the words, “What he said.”
Harrison’s agent, Bill Parise, told ESPN earlier this year that his client had planned to play the remaining season on his deal, and that he had no intention of retiring. He produced 40 tackles and five sacks last year for Pittsburgh.
