Kanye West is coined for his individuality and sense of fashion. With the release of this new album, The Life of Pablo, the merchandise sold alongside helped to merge fashion and culture in a brand new way.

From the fashion runways to the pop up shops, West definitely made his mark – but it wasn’t a solo effort.

Cali Thornhill DeWitt is the brainchild behind the fashion side of the brand, The Life of Pablo.

What started as a meeting with a new friend named Virgil Abloh, DeWitt was asked to do a collab and the rest was history. From there, Abloh introduced DeWitt to West, who then asked for DeWitt to lend his gift of creativity five days prior to the show at Madison Square Garden.

Humbled by the request, DeWitt accepted and completed all pieces necessary just in the nick of time.

Dewitt, 43, has gained notoriety for his art and shirts with text, co-founded the Hope Gallery and owns and operates his own radio show.

He’s definitely busy, but we know that it will not stop for DeWitt here.
