We all remember the 1996 classic, “Space Jam,” that made life a better place combining sports and cartoons – but the rumor mill has began to turn about the sequel.

Original “Space Jam” director, Joe Pytka, also known for his involvement in the music industry and commercial work, says that he has a kind word of advice to the sequel’s director, Justin Lin.

“Don’t do it…it’s doomed. Michael Jordan was the biggest star on the planet.”

When thinking of the possible line up of star characters for the spin-off, the only two that come to mind are Steph Curry and LeBron James – who they are hoping to sign on to the project. With the movie reaching its’ 20th anniversary this year, it will definitely become a talker and high anticipated – but will it deliver?
