Rapper Fat Joe, a former close friend of B.I.G., took to ESPN’s Highly Questionable with Bomani Jones and Dan Le Batard, ending the show’s hosts’ search for the infamous player’s identity.

After revealing Mason as the Knicks player Biggie was referring to on the song, Fat Joe went on to say:

“This is rap…it’s entertainment. We stretch the truth; we change things up.”
