In an effort to promote higher education and reduce dropout rates amongst children in urban environments, rapper and Wingstop franchise owner, Rick Ross, is officially launching The Wingstop Foundation.
In an interview with Bossip, the Teflon Don stated that The Wingstop Foundation will be providing scholarships as well as grants to young people and employees throughout urban areas to combat the the 54 percent dropout rate of students in these areas.
“We see the drop out rates. We know what’s going on. So what’s the biggest thing that we could do? Wingstop as a company came together and put together an urban scholarship that’s for the underprivileged, that’s educationally based. That’s me talking to my audience. We need to hear this, and we need to bring all these ideas and concepts to the table and start as soon as possible.”
This is dope!
